HUDSONISM - Robot

"Mom, how about this? We get a really big robot, and we get the robot to lift up our house, then we put the robot and the house on a plane and fly to the beach. Once we get there, the robot can just help us set the house on the beach and then we can live there. I think that sounds like a good plan." - Huds

HUDSONISM - Tucan + Komodo Drago

Went to the zoo today.

Me - "Huds - you want to see a Komodo Dragon?"

Hudson - "YES! Like the one Curious George goes to see on the Subway?"

Me- "Yep, just like that"

After the Komodo Dragon, we go look at a Tucan.

Huds - "Mom, a Tucan is on the Curious George episode too!"

Me - "Really -- I don't remember a Tucan being in that episode? Are you sure?"

Watch it as soon as we get home. . . and on the commercial before the episode starts the tagline says "When you're saving one can, your saving - TWO CANS" - PBS kids -- "Mom. I told youuuuu."

HUDSONISM - Curious George

Tonight as we were putting the kids to bed, Hudson asked for his iTouch. Confession: He is 4 and still naps, but some days when he just doesn't want to go down...I give him his iTouch for 5 minutes. He chills out, he relaxes and gives it back to me and goes right to sleep.

Tonight his iTouch happened to be dead. I informed him of this and instead we did shadow puppets. After shadow puppets he handed me his curious george he has been sleeping with over the past week and said, "Mom -- I think Curious George can help you solve this problem. Take him down with you and have him help you and if you could just bring him back when you go to bed that would be great. Oh...and mom, he wants to ride down on your shoulders." <3 

HUDSONISM - Water.

Bedtime:

Huds - "Mom. It looks like you forgot to bring something up to bed with me tonight?"

Me - "Oh yah, I forgot your water!"

Huds - "Precisely." 

Me - "Dying hysterically of laughter. Where did you learn that word?"

Huds - "Blues Clues"

HARPERISM - Call me maybe

Hey I just met you. This is crazy. But here's my number. Call me maybe.

HUDSONISM - Mom. Mom. Mom.

Me: "Say bye to daddy guys...he is leaving us for a fantasy football draft for a few days." 

Hudson: "You mean I can just say, Mommy, Mommy, Mommy over and over again. YAY!"

HUDSONISM - Cleaning.

We are very lucky to have an amazing person clean our house every 2 weeks. It is honestly such a blessing, and I couldn't be happier with our decision a year and 1/2 ago when we decided to make this change...however. . . I think it may confuse my son a little.

Tonight at dinner Hudson dropped a bowl of mandarin oranges.

"Mom...look -- can you call Tina?"

HAHAHAHAHA.
