HARPERISM - Hudson

So. Harper calls Hudson "YAYA"

No idea why. No explanation. That is just what she calls him. It is pretty much the cutest thing ever.

HUDSONISM - Friend

Every time Hudson sits next to me, he tells me he is going to sit next to me and says..."Mom, your my friend....right?"

HUDSONISM - Beach

"Mom...dad...I miss the beach." We do too bubba....

HUDSONISM - Halloween

"Dad...what's our Halloween called? Christmas?!" - Hudson

HARPERISM - Microwave

We have a wooden kitchen the kids play with all the time. Harper got it for her birthday this year. Tonight she was playing and hit the "pretend" button on the microwave which followed with a load "BEEEP."

I'm not sure why, but this was extra funny to me.

HUDSONISM - Crescendo!

We have a water dispenser in the house, and take the jugs to get filled once every week or so. The kids are really big fans of Little Einstein's and as Shawn was filling the jugs the other day, the water was getting closer and closer to the top, and Hudson said, "up, up, up, CRESCENDO!!"

HUDSONISM - Moon

"Guys! The moon is stuck!" - Hudson

HUDSONISM - Broccoli

So, Hudson told me last night he wanted Broccoli in his lunch box. The kid has eaten broccoli one time and spit it out everywhere.

When I asked him what spurred this decision he said. "Because Chloe had it in hers and I would like it in mine tomorrow. Thanks Mom."

Alrighty then. We will see if he actually eats it or not. 

HUDSONISM - Counters

You know your house is a disaster when . . .

So, we got our house cleaned today, and it has been a few weeks. A few weeks of pure craziness between trips and work and Sam living with us...just nuts.

So, Hudson walked into the house after I picked him up from school today, and goes into the kitchen and he goes, "MOM! Oh my goodness! Look, we have counters again!" Seriously.

HUDSONISM - Dr. Seuss

Hudson can take sharing item's with him to school to share with his classmates. Today he choose his "Red Fish, Blue Fish" book by Dr. Seuss.

In the car he was practicing. "Hi, I am Hudson. I am 3. I brought one of my favorite books to share with you today, and this is my favorite page."

Oh, how he melts me.

HUDSONISM - Maui

"Hudson, do you know where Maui is?"

"North America."  Yep. That just happened. We were going for a "Hawaii" answer.

I didn't even know he knew what North America was! 

HUDSONISM - Friends

So, I picked Hudson up at school today and a little girl stood up in the circle and said, "Hudson is going to come to my house."  I responded, "Oh yah?" His teacher replied, "yes, they have discussed this in depth today, they are close."

When Shawn got home tonight Hudson goes, "Dad, I'm going to go to Jacquiline's house!"

Shawn, "Oh yah, who is that, and what are you going to do."

Hudson - "Friend from school. I'm going to play with her toys, and see her bed."

HARPERISM - Mine

Well - I feel bad now since Harper doesn't have an ISM yet, so I'm going to give her one just for fun! She is my crackerjack, and I know they are coming...just not yet. :) For now, I will post a favorite of hers. MINE!

HUDSONISM - Bema's

Hudson wakes up this morning...

                 "Mom, I want to go to Bema's. I will get my shoes."  (She lives in Indiana.) 

HUDSONISM - Double-u-m

Look mom, I drew a "double-u-M.  He was pretty proud of his first W. (And "M")

HUDSONISM - Umbrella Store

 "Mommy, I can't go to bed right now. It's raining and I need an umbrella. Can you take me to the umbrella store?"

HUDSONISM - My 30th Birthday

Hudson saying goodnight to me tonight. "Mom, I'm glad your three now." :)

#2. I got a card from my aunt today. It had $30 in it. He saw me open it, ran over, took $30 from a card I got today, ran to the fridge where he has his dollar he got from our friend Harley. . . puts my money on the fridge, and runs back and gives me his dollar and says, "Mom, we traded monies, this is yours now." Fabulous.

HUDSONISM - Army men

Hudson is playing with his army men and Harper keeps knocking them over. Hudson says "UGH, can't you guys make Harper some food or something?"
