HUDSONISM: Shower

So, last night getting ready for bath Hudson tells me, "Mom, I think I want to shower tonight."

Awesome.

I plop him into shower, walk him through the whole washing process with hair and body.

He gets out. "I LOVE SHOWERS. Maybe I can wake up every morning while you and daddy are still sleeping and take a shower, put my clothes on, get ready for school...and maybe, now you can sell the bath tub."

EEEK! I'm all about growing up but slow down buddy boy!

HARPERISM: Fish

We went to the Wildlife World Zoo today in Phoenix. It is pretty much the most amazing zoo EVER. On top of all the zoo animals, they also have an aquarium.

In order to get the kids from the bath to the bedroom some nights, we play "fish" and we stick a towel in their mouths and pretend we caught them.

Tonight when we got home, I asked them what kind of fish they would be if they were a fish.

Hudson's response. "I would be Nemo. Cute, orange, friendly."

Harper's response. "I would be a Piranha. The fish with the teeth! Actually, I would be a PirahnICA, a girl piranha."

If that doesn't describe my children, I don't know what does. ;) Love you fishies!

HUDSONISM: Brain

"I love this game, it makes my brain feel better."

HARPERISM: Strawberry

Harper: "Dad, look it's strawberry."

Shawn: "Go get a paper towel and wash it."

Harper: "Bema, look, a strawberry boogie."

Shawn: "That's a booger?! GROSS! Go wash it off now!"

HARPERISM: Grownups?

Harper had tiara on...wanted more dress up clothes.

"Mom.
Dad.
Bema.
Grownups?

I need help."

HUDSONISM: SLOW MOTION

Hudson: "I'm going fast. You're in slow motion baby."

HUDSONISM: UGH

Are you smarter than an "almost 5" year old? 
Hudson: "Mom, what does 'UGH' mean?"
Me: "That is a great question. Like, "UGH" I didn't eat lunch today." 
Hudson: "I know mom, you use it all the time, just want to know what it means."
Me: "I'm going to have to google that and see what I can tell you it means..."
